Dear friends, January 21, 2010, the bill n.2526 "rules for the regulation of the veterinary profession and animal health protection of 'affection' was assigned to the Social Affairs Committee of the House, after the submission of the proposal by the Hon. Cassinelli on 26/06/2009
Unfortunately, this proposal has not yet even begun the legislative process, almost One year later, which is why we ask you to write a number of the President of the Commission for Social Affairs, Giuseppe Palumbo, and Hon. Cassinelli, first signatory, because the latter initiative could be put on the agenda to begin its process.
It is, in fact, a bill, which must put a stop to the sad phenomenon of poor health care animal, with the requirement for veterinarians to issue, compilation and storage of medical records, medical reports and anything else needed to transparency and traceability of the work to the vet.
Currently, veterinarians have no obligation to do so. This legal gap, which leads to impunity can not be tolerated and that makes the animals without a valid legal protection in health. Too many medical malpractice animal, only one rule can empowering veterinarians to greater professionalism and accuracy, which can not be left to personal conscience, but must be enshrined in regulatory

We believe that important in Italy, there are rules governing the veterinary profession and allow Veterinary traceability of the work, starting from the filling and sealing of records.
The malpractice animal, are increasing, and the animals have a right to be protected as the people they are to all intents and purposes, an important component of our family life, social and emotional. Currently, there is a gap in the legislation that provides broad protection for cars veterinary surgeons in case of incompetence, negligence and negligence in their professional performance. Responsibility and conscience, can not be left to personal discretion, but guaranteed in legislation.
